Culture Works congratulates Sheri “Sparkle” Williams and Neil Gittleman, both recipients of the Governor’s Awards for the Arts that will be presented in Columbus on May 21, 2014.
Acclaimed Dayton Contemporary Dance Company dancer Sheri “Sparkle” Williams will receive the individual artist award and Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Artistic Director and Conductor Neal Gittleman will receive the award for community development and participation. We are so pleased for both artists, and proud that the Dayton Region won two of the total six awards for the state.
