Montgomery County’s Workplace Giving Campaign for the Arts kicked off with great fanfare this month at the Montgomery County Administration Building downtown. Well known local performers Michael and Sandy Bashaw played for an appreciative crowd, and were joined for several songs by County Administrator Joe Tuss, a talented musician as well. It’s always a wonderful surprise when employees find out there is great talent among their coworkers!
Our thanks to County Commissioner Dan Foley for speaking on the value of arts and culture in our Region, and to Workplace Giving Coordinator Dorine Ragsdale for organizing a great kickoff event and continuing to coordinate the Campaign. Dorine is assisted by Anne Bissacco at the Reibold Building and Brenda Wills at the Job Center. Mike London is coordinating the Campaign at Montgomery County Children’s Services. We appreciate your hard work.
