Culture Works and Five Rivers Metro Parks are partnering this summer to bring a new children’s art program to PNC’s 2nd Street Market. The program, Market Masterpieces, will run from mid-July to early August.
Each workshop is structured around a nature theme and is open to children ages 5 to 14. The classes are from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and cost less than five dollars a piece.
The workshop schedule includes:
- Creating mosaic pots (July 22 and 23, $3)
- Building dream catchers (July 29 and 30, $2)
- Making nature treasure boxes (August 5 and 6, $3)
- Painting birdhouses (August 12 and 13, $4).
Supplies and instruction are included in the cost of the class.
While reservations are suggested, walk-up students will be accepted the day of the classes. For more information or to register your child for a Market Masterpieces class, call Culture Works at (937) 222-2787 ext. 211 or visit the Five Rivers Metro Parks website.
