On Thursday, October 2nd, Mayor Nan Whaley sat down with Dayton arts organizations to share ideas, discuss new developments in the city, and announce upcoming events.
One of the meeting’s highlights was the announcement of a new grant funding program designed to support the culture, creativity, and diversity of Dayton neighborhoods. The Dayton Mayor’s Fund is seeking applications from neighborhood associations and other groups for programs, projects, and events that showcase and strengthen city neighborhoods.
Grants of up to $500 will be awarded to programs such as arts and cultural events, sports competitions, festivals, and more.
