We are very pleased to announce that Amber Best has been elected as Culture Works Board of Trustees Chairman for the 2014 fiscal year. As Vice President of Communications and Government Affairs at NewPage Corporation, Amber manages strategic initiatives for both internal and external programs, and was instrumental in the establishment of the company in 2005. She is the recent past president of the Board of Directors for the Family Services Association and serves as a Trustee for the AIDS Resource Center Ohio. Amber has been an active and involved member of the Culture Works Board since 2007, most recently as Chairperson of our Awareness Committee. We look forward to working with her in her new role.

Steve Petitjean of Fifth Third Bank was elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Culture Works. Steve is the Senior Vice President and Dayton City Executive for Fifth Third, managing the organization in the Dayton region and responsible for Fifth Third’s community development and civic and charitable presence in the community. Steve also joined our Board in 2007, and most recently served as the Culture Works Campaign for the Arts Chairman and Governance Committee Chairman for 2013.
