On Thursday, November 14, Culture Works kicked off our Campaign for the Arts and 40th Anniversary with a presentation of the results of the Economic Impact Study undertaken earlier this year by a collaboration between the University of Dayton and Wright State University. Marc Goldring, of WolfBrown in Boston, spoke to the interested crowd about the results of the study and some suggestions about action steps to take for the future. The researchers, Culture Works President/CEO Martine Collier, and Mr. Goldring answered questions from the audience to close the presentation. We had excellent media coverage for the event, resulting in a front page newspaper article in the Dayton Daily News on Friday, November 20.
