We are proud to announce that Culture Works is a 2015 Better Business Bureau Eclipse Integrity Award Finalist in the Small Nonprofit category.
Every year the Better Business Bureau of Dayton honors businesses and nonprofits who demonstrate outstanding management practices, business and community relationships, and promotional efforts. To be considered for an Eclipse Integrity Award, a nonprofit must first be nominated, then complete a rigorous application process in which they illustrate the positive impact their organization has had in the community over the past year.
Culture Works has had an amazing year–from raising over $170,000 for regional nonprofits through Dayton Region power2give.org to completing the Cultural Plan for the Dayton Region earlier this month–and we received an incredible 32 letters of support from arts, education, government, and business stakeholders, as well as vendors.
It is an honor to be considered for this award alongside so many excellent nonprofits who are doing important work in our community. We look forward to hearing more about their successes and recognizing their contributions at the award ceremony, which will take place Tuesday, May 12th at the David H. Ponitz Sinclair Center. We are especially excited to see The Dayton Power and Light Company receive this year’s Torch Award for marketplace ethics. The Dayton Power and Light Foundation generously provided two $50,000 DP&L Signature Grants for matching funds for the Dayton Region power2give program, and Culture Works is thrilled that their support of the Dayton community will be recognized.
If you are interested in attending the Eclipse Integrity Awards recognition ceremony and reception, tickets are $99 per person and reservations can be made by calling the Better Business Bureau at (937) 610-2277.
