Culture Works held our Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 16th at the Dayton Racquet Club. We honored our generous donors and recognized our Workplace Giving Coordinators and other volunteers.
For our most generous corporate donors, the members of The Legacy Society, we commissioned five original pieces of art by local artist John Landsiedel. Each of these one-of-a-kind collages attempted to capture the history and philanthropic impact these organizations have made in the community over the past 40 years, as well as their support of Culture Works during this same time period.
Below are the completed collages. Click to enlarge:
The CareSource Foundation donated generously to Culture Works this past year to launch the power2give program.
The Dayton Power & Light Foundation also supported power2give, providing a large grant for Matching Funds to individual donations.
Fifth Third Bank gave very generously to Culture Works through a very successful workplace campaign and corporate donations.
LexisNexis was once again our largest single-site donor and gave very generously to the Campaign for the Arts through Workplace Giving and Corporate Matching.
Premier Health was our largest Campaign for the Arts donor. Their employees give generously through their workplace campaign, and they also provided a substantial corporate gift to Culture Works.
