Culture Works has been named a 2016 Better Business Bureau Eclipse Integrity Award Finalist in the Nonprofit (5+ Employees) category.
Every year the Better Business Bureau of Dayton honors businesses and nonprofits who model ethics, honesty, and integrity for the community. To be considered for an Eclipse Integrity Award, a nonprofit must first be nominated, then complete a rigorous application process in which they illustrate the positive impact their organization has had in the community.
Over the course of the last five years, Culture Works has changed virtually every aspect of our business, including our mission statement, staffing structure, office location, governance structure, and operational policies, programs, and procedures. All of these decisions were made with the overarching objective of serving the community more efficiently and effectively, being more transparent in fundraising and business practices, and serving as ethical stewards of the funds entrusted to Culture Works by the public. We are proud to say that since beginning this transformation we have been a finalist for the prestigious Eclipse Integrity Award four years running.
We look forward to recognizing the outstanding work of our fellow finalists at the Eclipse Integrity Awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 10th at the David H. Ponitz Sinclair Center. If you are interested in attending the recognition ceremony and reception, tickets are $99 per person and reservations can be made by calling the Better Business Bureau at (937) 610-2277.
