The second-oldest ballet company in the United States, Dayton Ballet proudly celebrates its 81st season in 2018-2109. Dayton Ballet will host a season of five performances that include familiar traditional ballets, the classic family-friendly holiday favorite The Nutcracker, and new and innovative works. Dayton Ballet has two “homes” – the beautiful and historic Victoria Theatre and the state-of-the-art Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center.

The Dayton Dance Conservatory Company is a pre-professional youth dance company committed to creating young ambassadors of dance who will continue to proliferate and sustain the art of dance in the Dayton area. DDCC offers pre-professional dance instruction as well as two annual concerts, which include guest artists from the Dayton area and from surrounding states.

The Gary Geis Dance Company (GGDC) and Gary Geis School of Dance offer the finest dance and performance training in the Springfield area. The school provides children and adults, beginning to advanced, an affordable and diverse curriculum in ballet, jazz, modern and tap. GGDC 1st and 2nd companies (ages 8–18) offer multiple performance opportunities throughout the season.

Premiering in 2011 as Le Jeune Ballet National, Le Jeune Dance Company is the first professional company of its kind in the nation composed of ballet dance professionals at the very beginning of their careers. Le Jeune Dance Company performs as a repertoire company in Greater Cincinnati and other regional communities. Company repertoire includes classical ballet and contemporary dance, as well as cutting-edge choreography concepts.
Miami Valley Dance Company

The Miami Valley Dance Company is a year-round pre-professional training program and performing ensemble. This nonprofit organization, under the direction of Terre Manning and Pamela Ellis, is in its 28th year and has received more funding than any other pre-professional company in Dayton. MVDC dancers perform in The Nutcracker, a Spring Gala, and multiple community outreach programs.
Miami Valley Folk Dancers

Miami Valley Folk Dancers is a recreational dance group dedicated to learning folk dances from around the world and increasing appreciation of the music and dances of diverse cultures. Members include singles and couples at every skill level. Since 1952, the club has sponsored more than 70 weekend workshops, many with internationally known instructors. Dances take place every Thursday at the Michael Solomon Pavilion at the Community Golf Course in Kettering.
The Pamana Dance Group

The Pamana Dance Group is the premier dance troupe of the Philippine-American Society of Greater Dayton. The group performs a diverse repertoire of rich Philippine cultural dances showcasing vivid regional color and tradition. They regularly perform at A World A’Fair at the Dayton Convention Center, at various cultural festivals, and by special invitation.
South Dayton Dance Theatre (SDDT)

South Dayton Dance Theatre’s objective is to give dancers pre-professional training in a supportive learning environment. SDDT is a nonprofit dance company working with dancers ages 10 through 18 to help them reach their professional dance goals and aspirations. They are also a member of Regional Dance America Northeast. SDDT dancers get the opportunity to dance in The Nutcracker, the Spring Concert, and the Regional Dance America festival, as well as other local performances.
