For over 30 years, the Celtic Academy of Irish Dance has been dazzling audiences with performances showcasing the beauty and energy of Irish dance. Their classes, which are offered for ages four through adult and accept new dancers year-round, have earned the organization “Best of Dayton '' awards for the past seven years. Striving for excellence on the local, regional, national, and world levels, their teachers use innovative methods to create a positive environment in which dancers can gain confidence and achieve their performance goals in a unique and intricate form of dance.

Part of the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, Dayton Ballet is the second-oldest regional professional ballet company in the US, recently celebrating its 85th anniversary. This season, the 20-member company will perform Dracula: Bloodlines, Swan Lake, and the beloved holiday tradition, The Nutcracker. The season's final show, New Beginnings, is a repertory ballet showcasing the Ballet's new Artistic Director Brandon Ragland's vision for the next chapter of Dayton Ballet.

The Miami Valley Folk Dancers meet every Thursday evening at the Michael Solomon Pavilion on the Community Golf Course in Kettering to learn and enjoy dances from around the world. This is a recreational group which promotes an appreciation of the music and dances of diverse cultures. There are annual workshops with internationally known instructors. Everyone is welcome.
The Pamana Dance Group
The Pamana Dance Group is the premier dance troupe of the Philippine-American Society of Greater Dayton. The group performs a diverse repertoire of rich Philippine cultural dances showcasing vivid regional color and tradition. They regularly perform at A World A’Fair, at various cultural festivals, and by special invitation.

South Dayton Dance Theatre’s objective is to give dancers pre-professional training in a supportive learning environment. SDDT is a nonprofit dance company working with dancers ages 10 through 18 to help them reach their professional dance goals and aspirations. They are also a member of Regional Dance America Northeast. SDDT dancers get the opportunity to dance in The Nutcracker, the Spring Concert, and the Regional Dance America festival, as well as in other local performances.
