Active on campus and around the world, the Grammy-nominated Central State University Chorus is Marauder Pride. The ensemble of some 50 voices has performed everywhere from President Barack Obama’s White House to China and Spain. With the motto “Dedication, Passion, Discipline and Excellence,” the Central State Chorus highlights the contributions of Black composers and arrangers and has a repertoire spanning Bach, jazz, gospel, and rock.

The Dayton Celebration Chorus offers adults who enjoy singing the opportunity to join music lovers from all over the Miami Valley in enhancing their vocal skills, expanding their repertoire of mostly American music, and performing at a variety of venues. In addition to two concerts annually, recent performances include Dayton's Grand Illumination in Court House Square to open the holiday season, Angel Night at Calvary cemetery, and a lunch at the Earl Heck Community Center in Englewood. During the summer, the chorus sang the National Anthem at a Dragon's game and at a summer concert at Stubbs Park in Centerville.

The Dayton Metro Barbershop Chorus, a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, is a barbershop chorus that has been in the Dayton area since 1950. Barbershop music is characterized by a four-part a cappella harmony and the distinct barbershop seventh (ringing) chord. The DMBC performs at a wide variety of community venues throughout the region each year.

Established in 1908, the Choraliers have presented world premiere performances of commissioned works by major American composers including Dominick DiOrio Ola Gjeilo, and Joan Szymko. Collegiate Chorale is the premier choral ensemble at Wright State University and is mostly comprised of majors within the School of Fine and Performing Arts. Touring annually, the Chorale has sung throughout the United States and Europe. The ensemble performs music selected from a wide variety of styles and genres, spanning the early Renaissance to the 21st century, including music taken from the worlds of folk music and popular entertainment. The Collegiate Chorale has been featured with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra to critical acclaim on numerous occasions.
