For over 20 years, the Culture Works Leonard P. Roberts Scholarship has supported the educational pursuits of students demonstrating participation in and patronage of the arts. Now, thanks to changes made by the Culture Works Scholarship Committee and The Dayton Foundation, an even more diverse population of students will be able to benefit from Mr. Roberts’ legacy.
In previous years, only junior and senior college students attending eight designated colleges and universities in the Dayton area were able to apply. Starting this year, the scholarship will be open to any graduating high school seniors or college students at any level who live in and attend a college in Butler, Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery, or Warren County.
Student applicants must:
• Plan to be a full-time student for the entire 2016-2017 academic year
• Demonstrate participation in the arts
• Demonstrate financial need
• Have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
For more information and a link to the application visit the Scholarships page. The scholarship application is available December 14, 2015 and completed applications must be received by March 15, 2016.
