In order to honor the historical landmark location, the restaurant was dubbed Smiths’ Boathouse Restaurant, alluding to the original boathouse that was created in 1946. The Smith Family was presented with the opportunity to create a dining establishment that would be complimentary to the natural beauty of the Great Miami River. It also helps provide a BEAUTIFUL patio dining experience during spring and summer months.
