Springfield Civic Theatre is the oldest community theatre organization in Springfield, Ohio. Our mission is to provide quality community theatre to the Springfield and Clark County area of Ohio. In 1931, a professional actor spoke at a women’s club meeting, suggesting that the Springfield community could benefit from producing local theater. Since then, individuals from our community have dedicated themselves to enriching hearts and minds of all those who seek out the arts in their lives and to bringing quality community theatre to Springfield and Clark County. Come join as we approach a century of celebrating the stage.
