K12 Gallery & TEJAS

K12 Gallery & TEJAS (Teen Educational and Joint Adult Studio) inspires people of all ages to imagine, learn, and create art in a unique and encouraging environment. All programs and projects designed at K12 Gallery & TEJAS foster creative intelligence, which is essential to envisioning, problem solving, inventing and engineering change.

The nonprofit creative arts center, in their historic 35,900 square foot facility at 341 S. Jefferson Street, strives to keep the arts accessible to all Miami Valley residents regardless of age, ability or income. K12 Gallery & TEJAS serves over 60,000 Miami Valley aspiring artists each year through 400 on-site art classes, year round exhibitions, community outreach services, and over 1,000 off-site classes at 12 urban locations. In addition, the K12 Gallery & TEJAS team expands the visual arts network with dozens of public art projects and creative place making collaborations that add to the region’s vibrant culture.

Programs include Saturday art classes, Summer Arts Camp, in school and after school art programs for grades 7-12, field trips, professional exhibitions, a year round children’s gallery, public art, homeschool art enrichment, art incubator support, rental space, art parties from ages Pre-K to Adults and more.
